I Love YouFour years ago today
Was the first time those three words
Passed from your lips,
Hovering in the air,
Between telephone lines,
On patient but anxious heartbeats,
Waiting for my answer.
Why was I so afraid?
I had a feeling it was meant to be,
But perhaps I just wanted to be sure.
It didn't take long for me to know;
Sign after sign lit the path
As you guided me by hand.
We should be sitting together now.
For seemingly the millionth time, I should be saying,
With a hint of sheepish laughter,
"Remember the first time you said 'I love you?'
Remember how scared I was?
Were you scared?"
You should be wrapping your arm around me,
Saying, like you alw
Gonna have to wake up eventually...Well ain't this just interesting,
my dream of black was gone,
replaced by just a fantasy,
a story to never go on.

We moved down just past the wooden beams,
as she followed my sweet love,
the young ones they looked at us,
while we walk in each others arms.

We run just past the corner,
stare in each others eyes,
a kiss is woven,
love reawoken, oh joyous sparks.

She pulls away quite quickly,
as i look to my right,
a friend of mine approaching,
good thing it's dark in light.

He didn't see a thing,
but both of us in blush,
we walk out quite lovingly,
he's confused; we couldn't help but laugh.

She says that now she knows,
just how much i love,
Forever True?This will break
Our relationship or make
Our relationship; so
Let me see how this goes

I am a girl

I am lesbian
Be mine forever true?
In Anticipation OfI close my eyes

and I pucker my lips

And I inhale

In moments my mouth is covered,

stale.

I hold it open slightly and wait.

And when the first bit of saliva

hits my taste buds

and flavor is born anew into my world..

That’s what I imagine your tongue would taste like.

How Much Do I Like You?

i like you like fire likes to dance
to the soft wind, just dancing, not a care whatsoever
i  like you like the rain likes to fall
wish it away, there's no stopping it no matter
i love you like the heart loves to beat
the rhythm only ends when life is over
i like you like the water likes to flow
try to contain it, it'll come out one way or another
in the form of vapor, in the form of dew
it can break through the toughest rocks you ever knew

i love you like a star would give up all its light to reach your eyes
knowing it could take years and years for you to find
and when you do it's years and years too late
you'll see just a ghost the traveling light still creates
it could have turned into a black hole you wouldn't even know
but does it care? of course not, no!
I had to find you so you can find me, too
Before time turns out all the glow
Before it's time to forever go

i was imagining a conversation with somebody i accidentally confessed my crush to.
it went something like "Hey, but I don't like him the way I like you."
He said, "Why, how much do you like me?"
Yeah. Oops.

added the last line. i realized i didn't want to end with the word "glow"
